“Raíces Aéreas” (Air Roots), written and directed by Ernesto García, includes an overview of some of the most important Cuban playwrights in exile. This work interviews six prominent figures linked to Cuban theater, who talk about their personal experiences and offer a vision of the theater performed by Cuban exiles. The voices of Matías Montes Huidobro, Julio Matas, Pedro Monge Rafuls, José Abreu Felippe, Ivonne López Arenal and the renowned specialist José A. Escarpanter, address the theater framework outside of Cuba.
