Artefactus Theater (Miami)
October 11, 12 (8:30 p.m.) and 13 (5:00 p.m.)
El Crimen, by Marguerite Yourcenar, in version and direction by Eddy Díaz Souza.
The staging proposes an exercise in confessions, where Clytemnestra, queen of Mycenae, played by Miriam Bermúdez, tells the reasons that led her to murder her husband Agamemnon, upon returning from the Trojan War. The staging includes songs and boleros, and adds references to events that update the story and bring it closer to our Hispanic American reality.
