SECOND STATION: FIRST ROUTES
Assembly of the texts based on searches and proposals.

THIRD STATION: THE LANDSCAPE
Rehearsal. Professional visit.
Class 5/ September 9
FOURTH STATION: THE FINAL STRETCH

CLASS 1. THE TRAVELER AND THE SUITCASE
8:00 PM to 8:30 PM – Warming up the body and imagination. Practical. Exercises for physical and emotional preparation for work. What stories would you take in your suitcases?
8:30 pm to 9:00 pm. THEORETICAL STARTING POINT.
Brief introduction to the concepts of one-man show, monologue, technique.
Brief review of the great masters of acting (Stanislavski, Grotowski, Barba)
9:00 pm. First approach to the text. Practical exercise. Each person chooses a phrase, the one that connects them most to the chosen text, and an object that they will take from a basket to create an action that connects them. Irrational approach.
The traveler and the suitcase. Who they are and what texts they bring.
What are we going to do in the workshop? Explanation of the process and the seasons.
Characteristics of a good text to be represented in a one-person show. What ingredients should the text have?
Reading and analysis of some texts.
Task: Review the text. Choose it. Pack a suitcase with a costume and an item. For the next class they will come with the suitcase.
