Two short plays in one night at the theatre: Ofelia and Assault
Between Elsinore and the river is Ophelia, Hamlet’s loving fiancée, who returns to the stage to offer us a different view of her story. Ofelia tells us about her devotion to that prince who said he was crazy with doubts, crazy with grief over the death of his father. She returns from the dead to talk to us about life, about love, about her devotion to the projects of a young man who is deluded. She comes to give us her version of that Denmark and of the Hamlet of our days.
