Mission

ARTEFACTUS Cultural Project is a non-profit organization based in Miami, Florida, focused on the creation and promotion of the arts and literature, with a special emphasis on theater and Hispanic culture. In tune with its mission, ARTEFACTUS develops community-focused projects, promotes cultural exchanges, and develops educational and artistic programs that reflect the multicultural values of the city of Miami.

Objectives

• Consolidate a center for artistic creation and cultural services in the community of Kendall, Miami, Florida.
• Preserve the popular knowledge and the artistic and literary manifestations of the Latino communities in Miami.
• Instruct audiences and new creators through multidisciplinary programs that contribute to the integral formation of the individual and the family.
• Promote and support work created by and for the LGBTQ+ community.
• Develop research and activities that contribute to the understanding and preservation of the arts and literature.
• Carry out training and professional training workshops, as well as artistic appreciation programs that contribute to the intellectual, creative and analytical development of the audience.
• Produce shows and exhibitions for artistic, literary and educational purposes, as well as for entertainment and transfer of values to the community.
• Generate cultural exchanges at a regional and international level.
