ARTEFACTUS Cultural Project, a non-profit organization, was established in Miami on March 21, 2008. In September 2014, it opened its doors in Kendall, becoming a cultural reference for the city. This alternative space houses an Art Gallery with a 17'x10'x10' area, an intimate theater room (Black Box) with a 24'x18' stage, and a dressing room area. From these facilities, ARTEFACTUS has developed a wide range of cultural and educational activities and programs with the purpose of promoting and exploring the possibilities of the arts and literature. These initiatives include talks, conferences, art exhibitions, concerts, professional training workshops, and artistic performances aimed at a diverse and racially diverse community in South Florida.
