History

Artefactus Cultural Project, a non-profit organization, was founded in Miami on March 21, 2008. In September 2014, it opened its headquarters in Kendall, where it is currently located. This facility has an Art Gallery and a theater room (Black Box) with capacity for 60 people. In its 11 years of uninterrupted work, the organization has generated multiple activities aimed at promoting the arts and literature, such as: talks, conferences, exhibitions, workshops and artistic shows aimed at a significant audience established in South Florida. In this period of time, Artefactus has consolidated the following programs:
Literature
Authors
Established in March 2008 to preserve and disseminate the literary work of Hispanic writers residing in the United States, with a special focus on Miami. Since its creation, this program has become a crucial platform to give visibility to these writers, contribute to the preservation and dissemination of their works, and enrich the cultural panorama of the city.

This program offers an approach to writers through stage shows that combine stories, poems, short plays, interviews, and epistles.
Art Gallery
It is a program launched in September 2014 to promote the work of visual artists, with a special emphasis on creators established in Miami. It emerged in November 2019 to showcase the audiovisual productions of young talents from Miami.
Professional Theater
Founded in June 2009 to stage works by classic and contemporary authors that address issues related to women, family, migration, environmental pollution, and social inclusion. Through a careful selection of productions, this project not only seeks to entertain the public, but also generates meaningful reflections and dialogues. In this way, it is intended to enrich the theatrical experience and promote the understanding of relevant issues in our contemporary society.
Miami Open Arts Fest
Founded in October 2018 to generate a visibility platform for theater and the arts in general. This international festival has had the participation of prominent companies and artists from several countries, consolidating itself as an important cultural meeting point that celebrates diversity and artistic wealth.
Solo Theater Fest
